In 2021 HVC celebrated 10 years in the cigar business by releasing the HVC 10th Anniversary. The release was a Toro limited edition which quickly sold out.
In 2023, Reinier Lorenzo owner of HVC decided to keep the party going by releasing another 10th Anniversary cigar in their 12th year. This time the limited edition is a 5 x 54 Robusto.
This Nicaraguan puro consists of a Corojo ’99 wrapper, Criollo ’98 binder and fillers consisting of Corojo ’99, Criollo ’98 and Corojo 2012 tobacco. While the blend remains the same as the original the classification of the wrapper has changed from claro to rosado.
The tobaccos come from Aganorsa but the cigars this time are rolled at HVC’s new Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
