The new Perdomo Habano gets a longer name and a new blend. The Perdomo Habano Barrel Aged is available in three different wrappers. Aged six years, the wrappers of Connecticut, Sungrown or Maduro are complimented with high-priming Cuban-seen binders and fillers from Nicaragua. The Connectict wrapper grown in Ecuador is described as mild to medium that is both rich and buttery. The Sun Grown is medium in body with rich earthy flavors and subtle hints of spice, while the Maduro is medium-full with rich robust notes of dark cocoa and coffee.
The six-year aged wrappers get additional aging in bourbon barrels. The Connecticut spends 6 months, the Sun Grown 10 months, and the Maduro 14 months.
The fillers and binders feature aged tobacco using 4 year aged seco from Condega, 5 year aged viso from Jalapa and 6 year aged ligero from Esteli.
It is hard to find a cigar that delivers sweet bold, full flavors with the balance and finish that the Perdomo Habano Barrel Aged provides.
