A Great Cigar!, 7th Apr 2017

Once we clip the cap, the cold draw of the cigar is relatively sweet with hints of prunes, raisins and a subtle cookie dough. The aroma on the wrapper and foot is warm and inviting and has a cookie dough like quality to it as well.

With a Lonsdale, which has a smaller ring gauge I like to use a single jet lighter such as the Colibri Eclipse. It makes it easier to light a smaller ring gauge with pinpoint accuracy. Once we toast and light the cigar there is a nice spice through the nose that doesn't overpower the sinuses and the aroma of the cigar has warm baking spices that permeate the air. As for the flavor profile there are notes of dark chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers. Yes the cigar reminds me of a s'more. Smoking further into the first third the notes begin to change.

In the second third the Dos Hombres Honduran Maduro changes up. The sweetness of the s'more has faded as the cigar begins to develop some rich espresso notes. There is still a faint dark chocolate that lingers ever so slightly on the long finish. The front end of the cigar develops some cinnamon on the front end with a leathery mouth feel on the finish.

As we close our cigar the aroma really stands out with hints of marshmallows and a subtle chocolate note that continues to linger on the finish ever so slightly. The spice kicks up a notch in the last third of the cigar that I smoke until there is nothing left to hold.

i bought to bundles a few weeks back and i have bought bundles in the past nice smoke about and hour of your time nice white ash a taste of coco nuts and ceder great cigar will buy again and again
