Owner and Founder of Two Guys
David Garofalo has been a cigar smoker and active in a cigar business for over 30 years. He is the owner, founder and President of Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire. There are 3 store locations, which are in Salem, Nashua, and Seabrook. Two Guys Smoke Shop is arguably the highest volume independently owned cigar retailer in the world! David sits on the Board of Directors of the (IPCPR) International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers, a member of the (TAA) Tobacconist Association of America, (NATO) National Association of Tobacco Outlets, a founding member of (CANH) Cigar Association of New Hampshire and is a proud member of the (CRA)Cigar Rights of America. David owns and operates a mail order catalogue division of Two Guys for over 25 years and is considered by many as an ultimate cigar expert in the trade. David's love and passion for cigars, keen palate, and open personality makes him one of the best in the business.
You may ask what does a person who has been in the business for 30 years smoke, well here is what he smokes and why in his own words:
Atabey is my all-time favorite… ya I know it’s expensive but putting price aside, it is simply the best cigar I have ever smoked. Full flavored but not full bodied, very well aged and very complex.
La Gianna was blended by me in 1993 and for sale on October 4, 1994 after the birth of my daughter Gianna. It was blended for my taste and now over 21 years later, apparently my tastes haven’t changed because I still love it. Buttery smooth and mild, perfect anytime of the day for me. When I’m looking for a little more I simply go to the Maduro for a little more sweetness and flavor.
Garofalo was made for me by Perdomo, I didn’t blend it but they really know what I like and pulled it off perfectly. Nuttyness and creaminess at the same time with a hint of pepper.
SALEM, NH LOCATION
Mr. Jonathan was as a customer of Two Guys Smoke Shop for many years and made his way in to a management position when one opened up. Today he overseas things at our Salem location as the store manger. Watch for interesting changes and even more superior customer service as this is Mr. Jonathan's plans. Yes, he likes to be called Mr. and has been the co-host on The Cigar Authority Radio Show for the past 5 years. He knows his cigars!
His favorite cigars are the Byron Distinguidos which comes from Nelson Alfosno's Selected Tobacco. A name you might not be familiar with, but you know his work from his design of the Cohiba Behike. Continuing the Cuban trend he also enjoys light up a Serino Royale; Hirochi is the grandson of famous Cuban tobacco grower Alejandro Robaina. To top things off he looks to the 22N/83W which just happens to be the latitude and longitude of the famous Pinar del Rio region in the island nation.
Jessica has been smoking cigars with her Father since she turned 18. Having a love for the passion of cigars she came to us looking for a sales position and her knowledge of tobacco impressed us so much that she became the first female cigar specialist for Two Guys Smoke Shop. Since joining the team, Jessica has been named Assistant Manager and can also be found at our Seabrook store early in the week.
Like many women, she enjoys the finer things in life and cigars are no exception. As a big fan of Nelson Alfonso's Selected Tobacco it is of no surprise that her frist two choices are the Byron Poemas and Bandolero Traviesos. However, not every purchase has to be of a higher dollar amount, so she also opts for the Berlin Wall from Hammer + Sickle.
Pat is a long time cigar smoker and customer of Two Guys. He retired in 2004 and became a member of the Two Guys family soon after. He is a fan of medium to full bodied cigars. When you come into Two Guys Smoke Shop in Salem and want help selecting cigars and to talk sports Pat is the guy to see.
Pat's tastes run between new school and old school when it comes to cigars as evidenced by his favorites of Moscow City from Hammer + Sickle and Padron 1926 No. 6. When it comes to picking a third, he chooses to reserve judgement for whatever happens to strike his fancy at a given moment.
After starting out as a regular customer of Two Guys, Mike Ward was hired by the company in 2003. During his many years with Two Guys he has likely smoked almost everything in the store at one time or another. Mikey as he is now known by the rest of the Two Guys staff has a very deep understanding of the construction of a cigar, since he has been trained how to hand roll cigars. He has a diverse palette, and enjoys milder to full bodies cigars. Every day at work Mikey lives by a simple creed "I can't sell it if I don't know it!" So he tries to sample everything that comes through the shop, making him ready to answer any and all customer questions.
NASHUA, NH LOCATION
Manager / Cigar Specialist
Fred has been involved in the retail industry for over 30 years. It all started in 1980 when he franchised a convenience store. Fred later took a part time job at a small cigar store a friend managed and that's when he discovered his love of both smoking and selling cigars. Fred has been with 2 Guys Smoke Shop for the last ten years. He started on the sales floor in Salem and moved to Nashua to manage the store when it opened. Fred started off smoking mild cigars and it wasn't long before he moved on to fuller bodied cigars. His favorite cigars are Padron Anniversary Series and Davidoff Millennium. Fred loves retail, loves cigars, and would love to talk to you so come on in and pay him a visit in Nashua.
As a member of The Cigar Authority, Fred Keaton had a following of his alter-ego Old Fart Freddy where he would let us know how he felt about the state of society. As a result Freddy isn't shy when it comes to letting us know what his favorite cigars are. While he might miss the days of the 5 cent cigar his favorites might surprise you. His go to cigar above all else is the Padron Serie 1926 #9 Maduro, but he can't smoke the same cigar all the time and he likes to mix things up with the Perdomo's 20th Anniversary Robusto Maduro.
Manager / Buyer
Ed has been with Two Guys since 1995 but he has known the Two Guys since 1985 when at the age of nine, he would frequent the original store in his hometown of Somerville Mass with his mother. When Ed started in 1995 the cigar boom was at its height. He was hooked. It's been a long exciting journey for him over that time, full of lots of exciting milestones. The company has grown so much, from the humble beginnings in Massachusetts to the three thriving stores and mail order business in NH. At the height of the boom there were lots of great cigars but there were also lots of bad cigars. Today, Ed believes, we have entered a "Renaissance" for cigars, and that with so many great choices, it's hard to find a bad cigar. Ed is a proud member of Cigar Rights of America (CRA) and an active member of the Cigar Association of NH. (CANH). He counts himself lucky that over the years he has made great friends both in the industry and in the Two Guys stores.
As the buyer for Two Guys Smoke Shop, Ed has tried just about every cigar on the market and even some that never made it to the store level. Of the thousands blends he has smoked there are three that he finds himself reaching for more than others. Like many at Two Guys Smoke Shop he is a big fan of Nelson Alfonso's Bandolero, but he also enjoys the box pressed Hermitage from Hammer + Sickle and the Padron Damaso.
As a minor league baseball player Pete Kiro took up the art of cigar smoking and when his career ended due to injury he opened up a cigar shop in the state of New Hampshire. in 2013 he became a member of the championship team at Two Guys Smoke Shop as a Cigar Specialist. With years in the industry Pete will help you find a cigar that fits your profile or help you expand your palate by trying something new.
Like David, Pete enjoys a milder cigar having taken one too many fastballs off the noggin. His cigars of choice begin with an Icon of a cigar, the Hammer + Sickle Trademark and the Perdomo made Garofalo with the occaisonal Diamond Crown when he has a chance to kick back at the pool during the summer in New Hampshire.
Social Media / Mail Order / Cigar Specialist
Since 1998 Barry has been a part of the cigar industry, starting in Brooklyn, NY. He would eventually become a writer for a couple of magazines and running a successful cigar website before making his way to Miami to work for a major manufacturer. After three years, he realized that the northeast was home and he came back to work for Two Guys Smoke Shop where he handles social media, 2guyscigars.com and is a contributing editor for The Cigar Authority.
Barry begins his cigar smoking day earlier than most as he lights up before he puts the key in the ignition of car for the morning commute. He also start his day strong often opting for for a My Father Le Bijou and over the course of his six cigar day he can will reach for Atabey which he considers a 100 point cigar and Padron 2000 Natural. On the way home he will bring things down a notch with the Nestor Miranda Collection Connectcut.
While new to the cigar business, Tim spent a lot of time with his father learning about cigars. The two shared special father/son moments that can only be shared over a smoke, and when he heard a position was opening at Two Guys Smoke Shop he decided to come on board. According to Tim there is nothing better than the relationships built over a great cigar and he looks forward to introducing you to the great products available at the shop.
Although Tim is new to the cigar industry his interests in cigars are diverse and are reflected in his go to smokes of Davidoff Nicaragua, especially the diadema. When he doesn't want to break the bank he reaches for Leaf by Oscar Maduro and Hammer + Sickle Tradicion.

After working in customer service and being a customer of Two Guys for a number of years, Keith became an employee and member of the Two Guys family in 2007. During his years as a customer Keith learned a great deal about cigars from the Two Guys Staff. Now as a member of that staff he uses this knowledge to help customers every day. In fact, he makes it his personal goal to make the best recommendations he can based on each customer's individual tastes. Keith personally smokes medium to full bodied cigars with a preference towards richness and complexity.
While Keith can be picky when it comes to cigars, there are three brands that stand out above the rest for Mr. Moore. Whether at work, or relaxing and enjoying a day off Keith reaches for Nelson Alfonso's Bandolero Picaros from Selected Tobbaco, Moscow City Robusto Extra from Hammer + Sickle or the RomaCraft Neanderthal.
James has been an avid cigar smoker for 25 years and a member of the tobacco industy for more than a decade. Jim brings his knowledge and expertise to Two Guys Smoke Shop and its customer base in Seabrook, NH. He is truly a character that is quick with a joke or words of wisdom.
If you need proof that the cigar world is a small one look no futher then our own Dan Ledwith and Barry Stein. You see when Dan got his start in the cigar industry it was at a shop in Princeton, New Jersey. It was at this shop, that Barry Stein was a customer. Now nearly two decades later the two find themselves working for Two Guys Smoke Shop. Dan's primary locale is at the Seabrook store, but he can be found in our Salem locating during the midweek where he also serves as a co-host of The AshHoles.
Not only avid cigar smoker, Dan is also a fan of the pipe where he can often be found smoking the remainder of cigars he enjoys in the bowl of his pipe. He deems these cigars pipe worthy, and we think he brings a new definition to the saying, "you can put that in your pipe and smoke it." Some cigars he dees as pipe worthy are Padron Serie 1926, Byron and La Galera Connecticut.
Adam Weeks was with Two Guys Smoke Shop for 6 years before his untimely passing on March 31st, 2015. Once described as the Heart & Soul of our Seabrook store, Adam remains a member of the Two Guys family, and will remain here in memoriam.
